The Oral History Project: Voices Otherwise Unheard

2018 Winner - Interview of Tooraj Yousefi

Tooraj Yousefi is a Kurdish university professor currently teaching at Ryerson University. In this interview, he provides viewers with a detailed account of his personal experiences growing up during the Iran-Iraq war as a teenager, and the impediment he faces as a student under these conditions. He vividly illustrates the gruesome atrocities of war and how it affects the lives of people around him.
